Florida Congressional District 27 candidate Michael Hepburn and current City of Miami Commissioner and CD27 candidate Ken Russell have joined the People's Progressive Caucus of Miami-Dade in opposing the extortionate 1400% price increases of cancer drug lomustine by Miami-based company NextSource Biotechnology. Commissioner Russell has called for an investigation into NextSource, and Mr Hepburn has reiterated his platform commitment to fighting out-of-control pharmaceutical costs.

These extortionate prices from a predatory company hurt working families personally. It's time to make it personal in response. On Saturday, January 6, at 2 PM, the PPC and allies will be holding a die-in on the sidewalk in front of NextSource CEO Robert Dicrisci's condominium at 1111 Brickell Bay Drive, Miami, FL 33131. We will be available for press comment before and after the die-in.
